Least cost

Once a model or template has been set up, rations can be formulated on a least cost basis by specifying their cost and their inclusion limits. These limits can be in the form of a range, or a fixed value can be entered. In addition to individual feedstuff limits, group limits can be set. For example no more than 2 kg of cereals must be used, or at least 40 percent of the dry matter must come from forage.
